The Roundhouse Concave is the grip wheel in the Carver lineup. The concave riding surface creates an hourglass-shaped contact patch under load — as you lean into turns, the lip compresses and pushes into the ground, increasing surface area and grip when you need it most. The 78a durometer keeps things smooth and fast on rough pavement while maintaining strong traction through carves.

Great grip

"I purchased these with a new board from a local shop. I love these wheels, my neighbor hood has some slightly sloped hills and some with more slope. I am able to crank turns on the slopier hills to keep my board from going to fast. The traction is incredile for me. In the 70s my teen years Cadilac wheels were just coming around. I have found a new love for skateboarding with with the inovation of surfskating and Carver has it dialed in it seems. I have two other surfskate boards that have no comparison to the Carver setup. I am going to buy another set of these wheels to see if it helps the other boards in performance. Being an old man like myself you need all the help you can get to help keep you from falling while riding, though its inevitable."
