How to Tune C7 Trucks
The C7 tunes on one rule: 0-1-2. Zero at the pivot, a touch at the kingpin, and the spring bolt does the rest.

Pivot Bolt: Zero Adjustment
Keep it snug. That's it. Over-tightening compresses the thrust bearings, and the pivot needs to rotate freely with no vertical play.
1
Kingpin Nut: Very Little
The factory setting is dialed. Too loose invites wheel bite. Leave it alone unless you have a reason not to.
2
Spring Bolt: The Real Tuning
The spring bolt at the back of the baseplate is your dial. Turn it right to add spring tension and firm up the swing arm. Turn it left to free up the lateral sway for a looser, surfier ride.
Rider tip: however you set it, keep enough tension on the arm that the truck re-centers on its own.
