Inspired by watching classic footage of barefoot groms carving down hills, we crafted a limited batch of these unique surfskates in-house, featuring hand-cut decks, trimmed C5 trucks, and soft wheels for a fun, smooth ride – sharing a piece of surfing history with a modern twist. Neil Carver’s meticulous approach to crafting the 60’s inspired Surfrider surfskate reflects his passion for surfskating innovation. He began by hand-drawing the deck shape, inspired by the narrow sidewalk surfers of the 1960s, ensuring it captured the authentic retro feel. To perfect the ride, Neil hand-cut the mini C5 trucks down to 4 inches, balancing agility and stability. Throughout the process, he oversaw every detail, from the custom finishes to the selection of soft 65mm Roundhouse wheels, creating the ultimate sidewalk surfer that blends nostalgic style with modern performance. This hands-on craftsmanship guarantees each Surfrider surfskate is a unique and high-quality piece, embodying Carver's commitment to excellence and individuality.
